| October 29, 2008 Where's Robbo?As some of you have remarked, my touring schedule isn't as full as usual and you may be wondering what I've been doing with my time. Well, the answer is making a bunch of videos for some new tunes! The most recent two are a little on the political satire side of things, but if that's not your cup of tea don't worry, I'll be posting some live comedy songs again soon. I Love America So Much!I really do, don't get me wrong. It's just that some people use the cover of patriotism to push their "with us or against us" false choice and... well, you've been around the last 8 years and have seen what's been going on. I hope you like it! Signing StatementsSome of you may remember the one-man shows I did way back when, in which I had a bunch of satirical educational songs a-la Schoolhouse Rock. Playing the Homeland in Illinois on December 4th!In the homeland December 4th at the Zanies in Vernon Hills! I'm going to be there the whole weekend actually but the 4th is my night to headline, meaning I'm the big cheese of the night doing a full 45-minute set. I hope you can make it! Darkly comic sketch group Spurn returns to the New York stage Friday nights in June. There may be a piece or two of mine in the current production (depending on whether or not they can find a fully licensed and bonded lemur trainer with reasonable rates). Either way the show is sure to be hilarious, bitter, twisted, and at times downright weird. Check 'em out! They're at the P.I.T. Fridays in June at 9:30 pm.
